Attorney Bulkovitch is a Connecticut native who received her B.S. from the University of Connecticut in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She received her J.D. from Western New England University School of Law.  She is also a graduate of the Mediation Certification Training Program at the Quinnipiac School of Law Center on Dispute Resolution.

 

Attorney Bulkovitch did a legal internship under the Federal Magistrate Judge Kenneth P. Neiman, U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts. She is admitted to the Connecticut Bar, the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut and to the United States Supreme Court.

She is actively involved with the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) Elder Law, Estates and Probate, and Family Law Sections. She is currently a member of the CBA Elder Law Executive Committee. She has also been on the CBA Estates and Probate Executive Committee. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and a PLAN of Connecticut Attorney. She previously served as a Hearing Officer for the State of Connecticut Department of Education. She has always volunteered her time and her talents to the local community including Scouts BSA.

She was honored and humbled to receive The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award for her work representing a Veteran with a divorce through the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC).  She has also been awarded the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyer Section Rookie of the Year.  She volunteers at Statewide Legal Services, at the Judicial Branch's Foreclosure Clinics, at the Connecticut Bar Association's Mediation and Arbitration Center, and at the annual Stand Down for Veterans Event at the Newington, Connecticut VA.

She has worked in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in town government.  She opened up her own practice so she could help people solve their problems or plan for the future. She looks at herself as both an advocate as well as an educator.  She gets the majority of her clients through referrals from previous clients, which is the best compliment.
